Dusty and her family moved to Venice after her husband received a job offer at Village on the Isle. The Alabama natives quickly fell in love with the close-knit small-town charm that Venice has to offer.
Dusty attended the University of Alabama and received a degree in Hospitality Management. After earning her degree, Dusty opened and operated an upscale restaurant in Mobile, AL for about 10 years. Dusty sold the restaurant to pursue another dream of hers – starting a family.
The mother of triplets, Dusty runs a tight ship and doesn’t tolerate excuses. She’ll do the same as our next Councilwoman. You can count on Dusty to use her business background and no-nonsense attitude to work towards what’s best for Venice.
Dusty is committed to fighting for the issues that matter to Venice:
Dusty and her husband Doug live in North Venice with their three children and their beloved dog, Brooks. Their children attend Laurel Nokomis School and the family worships at The Bridge Church.
